Mary Minns

Mary joined our Employment Team in Telford in September 2021 as a Primary Advisor within the Alpha Team, providing HR and Employment Law advice to Employers. She also acts for Employees and Employers in Employment Tribunal Cases.

Having studied her LLB at the University of Wolverhampton followed by the Legal Practice Course at University of Law in Birmingham, Mary began her career at a Staffordshire firm in 2011 where she worked as a Paralegal in Litigation, Personal Injury and Employment. After successfully obtaining a training contract Mary qualified as a solicitor in May 2016 and continued within those departments. After joining Martin Kaye Solicitors, Mary now solely focuses on employment law.

Mary has experience in conducting cases within the County Court, High Court, Employment Tribunal and Upper Land Tribunals and has acted on behalf of both Employers and Employees. Her experience includes claims against large employers such as the NHS and Royal Mail, in addition to extensive experience advising on matters such as redundancies, disciplinaries, TUPE, contracts of employment and settlement agreements.

In her spare time, Mary loves travelling and always has a holiday booked.
