A leading West Midlands law firm have launched a HR Club for local business owners and human resources professionals.
Martin Kaye Solicitors, who have offices in Shrewsbury, Telford and Wolverhampton, started the HR Club to provide ongoing HR training for HR professionals across Shropshire and the West Midlands.
The first club, which took place at the end of April, was dedicated to ‘Sickness Absence’ and allowed attendees to learn about the best practice of managing sickness absence in the workplace. The session was widely praised by the new club members, as they took time to heap positive feedback on the speaker, John Mehtam, on the newly formed club and its content.

No sooner than the first club has finished, the Martin Kaye Solicitors team are now planning the next HR Club, which will take place in July, again at the Telford office and will focus on ‘Discipline and Grievance’. John and the team are excited to welcome back attendees from the previous session and any new attendees that may be interested in learning more about this subject.
John added: “Discipline and grievance is one of those subjects that the Alpha HR team at Martin Kaye Solicitors are asked about frequently. It is a subject that needs to be carefully managed, so we do encourage anybody who wishes to learn more about discipline and grievance to head along to the next HR Club, which takes place in July”.
