Alexandra Lusby

Alex qualified with a degree in European Politics & French in 1996, subsequently gaining the LLDip Post-Graduate Diploma in Law before transferring to the Legal Executive Practice Course, whilst working full time as a Legal Assistant. After attaining CILEx Fellowship Status in 2006, working at a large local firm, specialising in Crown Court and then civil litigation, Alex then spent 7 years with the local authority in Children’s Safeguarding and Child Protection. Alex returned to private practice in 2014, again with a large firm, specialising in residential conveyancing, with some work in commercial property, and undertook the CILEx Higher Rights exam in 2023, becoming an accredited CILEx Conveyancing Practitioner in March 2024. Alex joined Martin Kaye Solicitors in September 2024, along with her colleague and good friend Lyndsay Barnes, and she is now part of the team heading up the recently established Wem office.

In what spare time she has, Alex enjoys spending time with her family and also sings in Wem Community Choir.
